Animal Samaritans’ 16th annual Men of the Desert Fashion Show and Luncheon, presented by The Carl Jud Foundation, returned to the Palm Springs Air Museum with record-breaking excitement, welcoming more than 500 attendees — the largest audience in the event’s history. The afternoon unfolded as a celebration of fashion, philanthropy, and the energy that makes this event a highlight of the desert social season.
The runway came alive as Men of the Desert models stepped out in a dynamic showcase of contemporary and classic menswear. Each model was joined by a canine companion, whether a longtime pet, therapy partner, or other furry friend. Their wagging tails, spontaneous pauses, and playful personalities brought a lighthearted contrast to the polished looks, prompting laughter, applause, and countless photo-worthy moments.
Beyond the runway, guests explored an impressive silent auction where items included rounds of golf on the desert’s most desirable courses, and a dazzling pair of diamond and ruby hoop earrings from Brandon Boswell Diamonds. Bidding was lively and competitive, reflecting the generosity that has long defined Men of the Desert.
The event raised almost $300,000 for Animal Samaritans.

Though the models showed off covetable menswear in a range of colors and styles, their canine pals stole the show.
The energy continued as DJ Galaxy set the soundtrack for the afternoon, while guests stepped into a 360-degree photo booth to capture the moment before enjoying a luncheon prepared by Lulu California Bistro. The room reached its most inspiring point during Raise the Paddle, which opened with a$20,000 gift and set the tone for an outpouring of generosity. By the close of the event, the community had come together to raise almost $300,000 for Animal Samaritans’ lifesaving programs and services.
Over the course of the event’s history, funds raised have contributed to saving the lives of more than 16,000 local animals in need, providing critical care, protection, and second chances throughout the Coachella Valley.
The success of the 16th annual Men of the Desert Fashion Show and Luncheon was made possible through the dedication of its sponsors, planning committees, donors, and volunteers, all working together to create an unforgettable afternoon.
As the final applause echoed through the hangar, one thing was clear: Men of the Desert has grown into far more than a fashion show. It is a celebration of community spirit, generosity, and a shared commitment to improving the lives of animals throughout the Coachella Valley, proving once again that when compassion takes center stage, the impact is both meaningful and lasting.
