Pairing the latest technology with one of the country’s most respected instruction teams, the new Performance Lab at the PGA WEST Golf Academy is a singular setting for golfers looking to improve their game. The 1,800-square-foot facility, located on the first level of the PGA WEST Tournament Clubhouse, includes two movable floors: a Zen Green Stage that tilts for putts of all slopes, and a Zen Swing Stage that creates uneven lies. Also available are a Quintic putting system, 3D force plates, and Southern California’s only Gears 3D system with nine cameras for public use.

Bring your own gear or pick from the academy’s state-of-the-art equipment.

“We now have the best combination of tools in one space,” says Bryan Lebedevitch, director of the PGA WEST Golf Academy. “Our staff includes award-winning teachers who know how to maximize those tools to get the best result for golfers.” Private lessons and multiday golf schools will be held at the Performance Lab, whose presence reinforces the reputation of PGA WEST as the “western home of golf in America.”

“The Performance Lab will expedite the learning process by helping us pinpoint our diagnosis of swing issues more quickly and efficiently,” Lebedevitch says. “Our team can isolate specific things a student may need to focus on by using some or all of this new technology. There are more interactive tools that will help students see and feel things as never before. We can cater the learning environment to every type of golfer, from beginners to a tour player.”
