Set against the timeless beauty of the Coachella Valley, Caroline and Margo’s big day bloomed beneath the sun with plenty of personal touches and color.
The couple’s love story began in college at ages 18 and 19, but life took them in different directions — Margo transferring schools for hockey, Caroline building a life in Boston. They remained friends, reconnecting every few years, until a visit in 2020 made it clear: This was their forever.
Their wedding at Indian Wells Golf Resort was a vibrant tribute to the desert’s natural beauty. “Margo’s grandmother lived in Palm Springs for 30-plus years, and it was a very special place for her entire family,” Caroline says. “When we got engaged and started planning our wedding, we couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate our love and share a magical weekend with all of our people.”
Bright orange accents — woven into the florals, signage, and even an old-school rotary phone turned audio guestbook — brought playful energy to the midcentury modern setting. Overhead, a canopy of disco balls cast a dreamy glow on the dance floor, where the San Diego–based band Jukebox kept the party going all night. The ultimate showstopper? A stunning baby blue Lincoln, their perfect “something blue,” doubling as the backdrop for some of the night’s most unforgettable photos.
At the heart of it all was the ceremony. Officiated by Caroline’s brother, with Margo’s brother reading from Obergefell v. Hodges, it honored not only their commitment, but the journey that led them here — a love story that, after years apart, found its way home.
