Some weddings are beautiful. Others are legendary. Caroline and Chasen’s was both.
Their love story began with an Instagram story. Caroline spotted a birthday post from Chasen and immediately asked a mutual friend for his number. One text turned into a first conversation, a first date, then a love story that felt inevitable. When Chasen later proposed at the ancient Mayan ruins of Altun Ha, surrounded by Caroline’s family and cheering strangers, it was the kind of grand, unforgettable moment that set the stage for the celebration to come.
For their wedding at Cavallo Ranch in Thermal, they opted for a blowout event. “We [wanted to] thank everyone in our lives who have supported us,” Caroline shares. Against a sleek navy and black palette with bright white florals and silver accents, the day pulsed with love, energy, and a timeless aesthetic. (They toyed with a few trends, too, like a beer guy who passed out cold brews just before they walked down the aisle.)
“Chasen and I decided on the venue, guest list, caterers, and vendors together,” she continues. “I took the lead on the aesthetics, décor, wedding party wardrobe, the weekend itinerary, and the day-of schedule.”
Their private vow exchange, held just before the ceremony, was a quiet moment of pure emotion — so overwhelming, Chasen says, he almost passed out. The reception, however, was anything but quiet. Guests packed the dance floor, the music soared, and in a surprise move, Chasen jumped behind the DJ booth for a 45-minute set that brought everyone to their feet. Just when it seemed like the night couldn’t get any more memorable — splash! Fully clothed, the newlyweds and their closest friends leaped into the pool, sealing the night with an unforgettable moment.
