Tequila shots in place of petals. A mirrored ceremony stage. A Broadway-meets-Rat Pack soundtrack capped off with a surprise duet featuring Kermit the Frog. Justen and Travis’ nuptials at the Ingleside Estate were anything but conventional, fusing classic Hollywood sensibilities with campy irreverence.
To accommodate their 250 guests in a venue designed for half that, the grooms reimagined the estate’s layout, transforming the front lawn and driveway into their grand ceremony space, while the reception unfolded poolside, reminiscent of a golden-age soirée. And no wonder — Justen is a creative director for a company that produces immersive music and theater pieces, and Travis is a senior event producer at Apple.
Fashion was a centerpiece, with the grooms’ ensembles inspired by Dior gardener suits in dusty rose and mint, and guests encouraged to wear elegant desert tones. After dinner, the couple embraced full glam: Travis in an ombré sequin tuxedo, Justen in a Bob Mackie–inspired emerald and silver sequin jumpsuit.
With a 10 p.m. noise ordinance in Palm Springs, the party transitioned indoors to become an on-theme “Disco Oasis,” a dramatic supper-club fantasy dripping in metallics, neon, and vintage mirror balls. With Los Angeles’ disco queen Gavin Turek on vocals and DJ Spencer Ludwig keeping the beats going, the celebration embodied everything Justen and Travis cherish — glamour, creativity, music, and love.
