To say I am obsessed with matcha is an understatement — my Instagram explore page is filled with matcha recipes. So when my sister and I discovered Xanti’s Coffee at The Shops at Palm Desert, it was like we’d finally found El Dorado. One sip of their matcha, and we were hooked. Any time I visit Palm Desert with my mom and sister, we always make a stop at Xanti’s. It’s become our little family tradition.
The shop serves a variety of coffees, matchas, lemonades, and teas. What sets Xanti’s apart from other coffee shops is their dedication to quality. They roast their own coffee beans and make syrups from scratch, which makes a significant difference in taste. My favorite drink is the strawberry crème matcha, made with ceremonial-grade matcha and strawberry cold foam.

Aside from the drinks, what I love most about this Latino-owned coffee shop is how friendly all the baristas are. If you can’t decide what to order, the baristas helpfully walk you through the menu.
